The qualification is valid for three years

Since August 2021, the SIA has made it a requirement for all training centres to make sure that learners have a valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid qualification before starting their Door Supervisor course.

So, before your training begins, you’ll need to show us a current First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is valid for at least 12 months from the course start date.

If you don’t have one yet, no worries — we can help you out by offering an Emergency First Aid at Work course to get you ready.
